UBC NOMAS aims to serve as a student collective to advocate for diversity in design education and to create discussions in regard to equity and equality within the educational and professional architectural field, through promoting engagement with diverse perspectives, community involvement and fellowship, and professional development of its members.

The execs of UBC NOMAS are looking for participation from their members to join their committee! If you would like to be more engaged with our chapter's activities, joining a committee will be the right step forward. We have several committees looking for new members, so if you're interested in being more involved and would like to gain some experience, give the "Committee Expectations" document attached a read-through and sign up!

We are currently accepting applications for committee members. In the case of multiple applicants applying for a position, an interview process will be put into place to select the most fitting candidate. We will contact you further if this is the case! Unfortunately, we are only accepting registration forms from UBC NOMAS General members to ensure commitment. The membership fee for 2021-2022 will be $15, we will begin collecting fees from registered members when we are ready! For now, as long as you are a student at UBC, you are eligible to register as a general member.
