Dear Parents:

Twitchell Elementary School is pleased to announce an opportunity for preschool children within our community who are three or four years old.  This unique experience will provide preschool instruction for children in an inclusive learning environment with students, aged three, four, and five, with disabilities. This opportunity will enable your child to receive valuable, age-appropriate instruction, as well as provide the students with disabilities, age-appropriate role models.

General education students are expected to have age-appropriate, developmental skills in the areas of communication, social, behavioral, and daily living.  Parents will be required to transport their child to and from school. Consistent attendance is mandatory, including staying for the duration of the school session, except in the case of illness.

There are both half day and full day preschool programs available for the 2022/2023 school year.  The half day programs are 4 days/week, Monday - Thursday, and the full day program is 5 days/week.  Enrollment is limited in an attempt to maintain an appropriate class size.  If you are interested in having your child participate in this learning experience, please complete the online interest form by Friday, April 1, 2022.
