The Executive Board of the California CEC invites submissions for proposals for the FALL 2019 Conference.  Proposals should relate directly to the theme of the conference, “Teachers Connecting through CA CEC: You’re Not Alone” listed below.

We encourage collaborative proposals between PK-12 teachers, graduate students, and university faculty.

Title of Presentation: Limit to 10 words (If your proposal is accepted, the title may be edited for the convention program.) *
Abstract: Limit to 50 words (Provide a brief summary that clearly relates to classroom practices for special educators.) *
Participant Outcomes: Limit to 60 words (Provide three to four learning outcomes for your presentation. Participant outcomes must be appropriate for your intended audience and the focus of your proposal. Outcomes should precisely describe the skills, knowledge, and/or behaviors that participants will know or be able to demonstrate after the session.) *
Presentation Description: Limit to 500 words (Provide a brief summary that clearly relates to the topic areas and to the learner outcomes.  Include the significance to special education community.) *
Benefits to students, teachers, and administrators: Limit to 100 words (Provide a brief description of the benefit to students, teachers, and/or administrators of your presentation.) *
