LINK to register.
ALL ROLES are earned through Auditions, with consideration given to your conduct during auditions (respect for the studio and for others auditioning) as well as any recent rehearsal behavior and/or attendance issues.
Please do NOT register to audition IF you/your child is:
- unable to highly prioritize our rehearsals (T/Th/ Sat) within the family calendar
- only interested in being cast as one (or small number of) specific role(s)
We don't "offer" roles to students; we cast those deemed to best fit the Director's vision; then we expect students to bring their best effort to each role(s) and to support all other cast members.
Mary Poppins Jr features a new Director for Treehouse with a slightly different audition process. All auditioning students should fully PREPARE AND MEMORIZE:- SONG* (from a "Golden Age" musical, with accompaniment, up to one minute in length)
- SIDE** (short scene)
*SONG: select your own OR review our list of recommended "Golden Age" shows / songs (will be attached to your confirmation email) to find a few songs that will likely highlight the most solid part(s) of your vocal range. Practice a few of the songs and then pick the best one for YOU; then fully memorize the song through practice. We assess auditioning students on their preparation, delivery, vocal range, projection, diction, and polish, so be sure to practice, practice, practice your chosen song as this will help to minimize nerves.
**SIDE: based on your age, review our short scenes. Practice the one that applies to you and once memorized, add emotion, inflection, good diction, interest, and movement where it feels appropriate.

- THURSDAY, Jan. 4: 5-6-30 pm OR 6:30-8 pm
WHAT TO BRING and WEAR:
Bring a labeled water bottle and your downloaded music track accompaniment for your song.
