Payments

All tutoring payments must be made in advance at the time of booking. Payments are completed through PayPal. (At this time, we are not accepting any other forms of payment.) All time slots are on a first-come basis. Once payment has been received, you will receive an email link to the Google Classroom for your child to join the online platform. Because we are using the Google platform for lessons, it is recommended to use a Google email for both you and your child for a seamless integration. Failure to submit payment at the time of booking will result in forfeiture of your time slot(s).

Attendance

There is a 1-hr minimum for all tutoring sessions and each session is for (1) child only. To maximize learning, please ensure student is on time. There will be a 15-minute grace period for each session. If after 15 minutes student has failed to show up for tutoring and no communication has been provided on behalf of parent, herein referred to as a "No Call, No Show", the session will be cancelled, and no refund or partial refunds will be given for that day.

Cancellations

Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before the tutoring session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a partial refund and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Parent Responsibility

Parent agrees to email tutor with a copy of homework/assignments or at minimum a summary of what student is working on for review at least 12 hours in advance of session. This allows Tutor to pull additional resources and create activities/games to facilitate learning if necessary.

Tutoring Progress

Tutor will provide a summary of each student's tutoring session on the "Tutoring Session Log." Parents will be given a link to view this document at all times should questions arise about their child's progress.

Additional Conditions

At GraduAge Academy, we believe that student success depends on a strong Tutor-Student connection. If at any point during sessions, we feel that we are not the best match for your child, we will not hesitate to communicate our concerns with you and if need be, help you and your child find a program or person who you are more compatible with.

If any of these terms and conditions are violated such as but not limited to, late or missing payments, last minute cancellations, excessive tardiness, etc., we reserve the right to cancel all future bookings and remove you as a tutoring client.

We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and at our sole discretion. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be updated therein. It is the sole responsibility of the client to read these terms and conditions carefully and retain a copy for their records.
