Welcome to the 2024-25 ECISD Calendar Review page. Here you will find the three options created by the District’s calendar committee. A few things you will notice: 

• Option A utilizes 180 Instructional Days, the maximum number allowed. Doing so ensures our students have the most time possible with our teachers. This option includes 6 Early Release Days throughout the year. 
• Options B and C feature 175 Instructional Days. These two options include one Early Release Day (March 7), while the other early release days are replaced by full-day professional development (student holidays).  
• Professional Development days for staff members are split between days before school starts in August and days spread throughout the school year. 
• Options A and B have two start dates in August; one for students PK-6, and 9; then a second for students in 7, 8, and 10-12. 
• Option C has only one starting date for all students.  
• Two required Bad Weather Days to make up for potential cancellations. 
• Traditional breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year, and Spring Break
