Please read and follow the specific suggestions for each format to prepare the abstract that we will request below.
If due to time or space constraints we need to accommodate you in another format, we will consult you beforehand.
Single Presentation: Submissions should include (where applicable) a theoretical overview, a methodological summary and the main results.
Panel Presentation: Submissions should include a rationale for the panel as a whole, as well as a short description of each separate presentation. All the persons involved should be listed as co-authors. The main author/ submitter should be the panel convener. This option should also be used in the case of a single presentation that entails the usage of multimedia of performative materials that go over the 20 - minute limit for individual presentations.
Static material for display: Materials such as images, photographs, pamphlets. The materials and goals should be described. Please note that there are serious limitations in terms of space available for such content and that we have no means to print materials by ourselves.
Short showing of material / performances: Audio/visual material up to 20 minutes, or performances up to 20 minutes; should be described and linked up with the main theme of the conference. Please note that we will prioritize submissions that plan ahead for the discussion and problematization of that is presented.
Long showings of material / performances, or groups: Material / performances by several people presented as a session in itself, up to 1:30 hours; should be described and linked up with the main theme of the conference. Please note that we will prioritize submissions that plan ahead for the discussion and problematization of what is presented.
