Booking form for SEMF workshop for voices & instruments: 8th June at Clapham & Patching
About the workshop
This SEMF workshop for voices and instruments, directed by Alison Kinder, will be held at Clapham and Patching Village Hall on Saturday 8th June from 10.30am to 5.15pm. Alison's theme for this workshop is 'Renaissance Recycling' - examples of composers reusing old material (their own music or someone else's) in new works. The music will include works by Clemens non Papa, Vaet, Josquin, Morales,  and Palestrina. For more details of the music, essential practical information (venue, catering arrangements, timetable etc) and a biography of Alison Kinder,  see the event flyer at this link. The flyer will be available from the SEMF website from mid April.
The workshop is suitable for singers (all voices) and appropriate instruments, eg viols & other strings, recorders (alto downwards) and other soft wind, double reeds, and brass. If in doubt, please ask (email renaissance@semf.org.uk) . Pitch is A=440. Acceptance is subject to musical balance.
The deadline for booking is 24th May 2024.
