The Long Term Accommodation Plan (LTAP) is a tool that provides enrolment projections and guides accommodation planning for a ten-year time period. The 2019/2020 LTAP provides enrolment projections for the years 2020 to 2029 for each elementary and secondary school in the Halton District School Board. The LTAP also identifies accommodation pressures resulting from these projected enrolments and proposes strategies to address them.

The purpose of this plan is to announce recently approved capital projects and identify upcoming capital project initiatives for the Board from 2020/2021 to 2023/2024 in preparation for any Capital Priorities submissions requested by the Ministry of Education. It also provides an opportunity to identify potential accommodation issues due to new residential development, changing demographics, and program pressures.
