You are cordially invited to participate in a project supervised by Professor Laurence Wood and conducted by Kayla Santos, a student of the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts in the Education University of Hong Kong.

The project’s aim is to illuminate the feelings associated with cultural detachment felt by the student as well as the implications of cultural globalisation through the means of contemporary artworks. The research will observe whether or not those themes were represented in the student’s work in the participants’ own opinion.

The methodology

  3. Participants can find the online questionnaire and answer 11 prompts.

Potential Risks

  • There are no potential risks to this research as all participants will remain confidential. Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you have the right to withdraw at any time without negative consequences.


Potential dissemination of Results

  • The results of this study will be described in a report in which participants’ suggestions and comments will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the artworks.

  • Pseudonyms will be used in case of referring to specific participants’ responses in detail.
