Cyber Camp 2020  (video call July 21, 2020 3:00pm)
This camp is for students who have finished 5th, 6th or 7th grade and will be going in to 6th, 7th, or 8th grade next year. The camp is designed for anyone you wants to learn about Cyber Security and hacking.

Cyber camp will have a one hour mandatory interactive group video call on Cyber Security using fun activities. (July 21, 2020 3pm) The student will learn about Cyber Security and ways people try to hack then complete 4 activities on their own.  There will be a second optional video call in which students will be able to collaboratively help other students while the teacher facilitates.  They will also be able to share their optional projects.

Purpose of Code Camp:
To learn the skills of a hacker and use these skills for good
To learn the different ways people hack
To learn how quickly a hacker can crack your password
To check if you your password, username or email has been hacked
To create secret codes by using ciphers
To see who is being hacked in the world real time

** first 25 students will be accepted into the camp.  The remainder will be placed on a wait list for the next camp.
** This camp is for students who attend school in Allegany County Maryland.
** Student must have access to a device connected Internet for the mandatory video call July 21th, 2020 3pm
** Student does NOT have to have a device with a built in camera or microphone.
** Most devices with a web browser will work for this course.   This includes, tablet, laptop, computer, smartphone with web browser.  
** ACPS is not responsible for data used during this course.  Check the ACPS website for free WiFi locations around the county.  For free access to the Internet.
