Japneet Singh, a Sikh American, has been a community activist and organizer since he was 18 years old. Growing up in Queens, he understands the needs of the everyday people that make New York City run. Bringing the community together for the greater good is imbedded in his heart and he's done so unconditionally for myriad causes since. Running a city council race last year in district 28, Singh came in second place, mobilizing his community like no other has done before him. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere is a motto Singh represents; he will stand up with his entire community.

And now the map is bigger, the dream is still intact and the goal to serve the community never left his heart, it just grew.
