2020 Superintendent's Advisory Councils Nomination
Indianapolis Public Schools is seeking nominations for the 2020 Superintendent's Advisory Councils. One council will be comprised of IPS teachers and staff (classified and certified) and the other for IPS parents and community members.  Council members will have the opportunity to engage with Superintendent Aleesia Johnson on a variety of IPS related topics and provide feedback to district leadership.

Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria:

1.) Leadership Qualities: Nominees should exhibit high levels of professionalism, respect for colleagues & students, and serve as a role model for IPS students.

2.) Informed Perspective: Nominees should be actively engaged with their IPS school or work community, and should possess a working knowledge of district initiatives and challenges. Nominees should also have an openness to engage with diverse perspectives.

3.) Commitment to Excellence: Nominees should be aligned to the IPS mission and vision that every student has the opportunity to succeed and the power to create their own future.

4.) Record of Advocacy for IPS Students & Families: Nominees should be strongly invested in the success of IPS students and have a record of serving as an advocate for IPS students & families.

Please note that submitting a nomination form does not guarantee a nominee's selection to serve on the Superintendent's Advisory Council.

The deadline to submit nominations is Dec. 2, 2019.
