Thank you for your interest in the ICAAP Bright Smiles from Birth II Quality Improvement Project. Funding for this project was made possible by the Office of Health Promotion, through the Illinois Department of Public Health.

To earn American Board of Pediatrics Part 4 Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit each physician agrees to the following:
  • Participants will need to attend at least 2 out of 6 scheduled webinars live to engage in discussion of data and best practices across participating sites.
  • Participants should contribute to practice Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) cycles and data collection.
To earn MOC Part 4 credits each practice team agrees to the following:
  • Practices are encouraged to establish a team to engage in the project, which may include physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and practice managers. The practice team should designate one physician as the local leader.
  • Practice teams should have at least one person in attendance live at 4 out of the 6 scheduled webinars to engage in discussion of data and best practices across participating sites.
  • Practices should complete at least one PDSA cycle.
  • Practices should collect and submit practice-level data on project measures for 4 data cycles (baseline and 3 monthly data cycles).
This project will run from Friday, March 15, 2024 through Friday, June 21, 2024. The sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • Friday, May 3, 2024, 8am - 9am

    Oral Health Interventions in the Pediatric Primary Care Office
    QI: Using Data for Improvement

  • Friday, June 7, 2024, 8am - 9am
