Engineering Outreach is proud to be offering c_wonder: STEM Clubs for youth in Grades 1- 8 who have a desire to explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in challenging and creative ways. Our programs have been designed to introduce youth to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts including engineering design, scientific inquiry and coding. The curriculum for these programs is aligned to the Ontario Curriculum in the areas of science, technology and mathematics.

Each STEM Club will explore a central field and how engineering can be applied to solve its diverse and real-world issues. Students will be guided through hands-on activities and STEM concepts will build upon each session and will be interconnected throughout.

Participants will be encouraged to learn about hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts using household materials and supplies. As our programs will be offered online, participants will be using commonly found household materials to design and build their projects in addition to online software.

Registering for the c_wonder: Virtual STEM Clubs will give you direct access to the Google Meet links in advance. You will also receive advance information on the materials that the students may need to follow along and participate during any hands-on activity.

Spots are limited to 30 participants per STEM Club.
