Through 2023, we know First United Methodist Church has been a blessing to you and hundreds of others in our community and around the country!  From worshiping God to growing in our understanding of God’s Word; from providing nutritional support to rebuilding homes and lives for those in need; from gathering with friends we have known for years to making new friends and journeying in life together; from welcoming new life to ushering those we love into the hands of God… our community of faith continues to be a part of our lives and connect us with presence of the living Christ. With this in mind, we can only imagine what God will do through this ministry in the coming year.

All that happens here depends a great deal on you and your willingness to commit your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and your witness. As we begin this new year, we are asking you to make a financial commitment to the ministries of our church. The Biblical standard of a tithe is a tenth of your income. Leviticus 27:30 says, “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord: it is holy to the Lord.” This is a reminder that everything we have belongs to God and a portion is to be given back to God to thank him for what we have received. As you consider how much to give, we invite you to consider how you will honor God's 10%.

We understand that 10% of your income may not be feasible. Please consider what amount you can consistently give to support our ministries.
