I write about the U.S. economy for The Wall Street Journal, focusing especially on the labor market. I love hearing from people far and wide about how they're experiencing the economy, whether it's an interesting trend you're seeing in your community, your experience landing a new job, or how much you're paying for groceries. I'm setting up a mailing list to help me solicit sources and information for some of the stories I'm working on. Here's how it works: Every few weeks, I'll send out an email with a specific request. One week, I might want to hear from people who are on the hunt for a new gig. Another week, I might want to hear from a family about how they're managing their money to deal with inflation. If you fit the bill -- or know someone I should call -- you can let me know.
Who should sign up? People with interesting or provocative thoughts on the economy, either professionally or personally.
You can find my prior work here to give you a sense of what I cover. I can't respond to most press pitches, so this will be one of the best ways to keep tabs on what I'm working on.
