Walks Coordinator
  • Zak - Having been Walks Coordinator for the last two years as we've rebuilt post-Covid, I'm keen to continue building a strong and diverse walks programme and encouraging as many new leaders as possible to contribute. I'd also like to continue the streamlining of our processes for managing walk submissions following the new Ramblers Walks Manager and plans to rebuild our website, so that we can spend less time on admin and more on the actual programme.

Marketing Officer
  • Georgia - Having previously worked in the position last year, I feel that this position has been the right fit for me. I have started to build a new presence on the group social media and enjoy writing the newsletter entries to keep the group up to date on current walking events. I hope to assist other roles (as well as cementing the responsibilities of this fairly new role) moving forward.

  • Andrew - I have been the group's social secretary for a little over 2 years and am happy to continue! I have plenty of great ideas for social events for the coming year, and am always listening out for more ideas from our group. I am also always happy to facilitate our members who volunteer to organise events for our calendar.

  • Shannon - I've enjoyed being on the committee the last few years, and would like to continue giving back to the group. Over the past year I have been working on a website update, and we have recently decided to make major changes to the way our website works, coinciding with the new Ramblers walk manager. I'm keen to see this project through to completion and leave the website in a much better state at the end of the year.
