2nd Business in Africa Series, a spotlight on South Africa
Business in Africa is an annual series created by the African Studies Center (ASC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH).
The second installment will focus on the South African economy. It will be organized in collaboration with UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School and the South African Consulate General in New York.
The U.S. government describes the South African economy as matured. The U.S. is the second largest portfolio investor in South Africa.
The objectives for this second series are:
1. Enhance scholarship on the business climate in South Africa and create opportunities for further research, student learning and faculty teaching.
2. Facilitate linkages between business communities in North Carolina and South Africa.
The tentative date for this event is October 2021 and it will be an online event.
This poll closes Sunday, June 20th.
