KSDE History, Government, & Social Studies Classroom-Based Assessment Training

This 3-hour training will focus on assisting teachers, instructional coaches, and testing coordinators on the new HGSS classroom based assessment.  Teachers will be training on how to construct the assessment tasks and how to use the scoring rubrics, coaches will gain insight assisting the development of teacher professional learning, while testing coordinators will gain understanding about the concepts and processes of administering the assessment.  

This will serve as a training for those schools piloting the assessment this year.  
Teachers will leave with assessment ready tasks to pilot this school year.
