Are you a policymaker, a technician or a consultant involved in the climate transition of your city?
Are you part of an NGO dealing with energy and climate issues?
Then join the EUCityCalc EU Level Training on 10 June in Brussels, at Atelier 29, from 9.30 to 17.00!
The in-person training is a great chance to learn more about the European City Calculator, the free webtool that supports cities in achieving climate neutrality and allows local authorities to make informative policy choices by visualising and simulating low-carbon scenarios based on the city's data.
To achieve the climate and energy transition, cities have to face several challenges, including high costs, resource limitations, and difficulties in collecting relevant data. Our training is designed precisely to help you overcome these issues and steer local governments towards a more sustainable future in line with 2050 EU climate targets.
The developers will guide you through the webtool, explaining you how to use it and how to create and read low-carbon scenarios using your city and national data.
During the training, you will:
- Explore key features: Gain a deeper understanding of the functionalities and capabilities of
the EU City Calculator.
- Experience a hands-on learning: Engage in interactive demonstrations and practical exercises to
harness the power of this innovative tool.
- Learn best practices: Get inspired by successful case studies and best practices from cities that
have effectively utilised the EU City Calculator.
- Network: Connect with like-minded professionals and experts in the field of
urban sustainability.
The in-person training will be held in English. Priority will be given to participants who have completed both Module 1 and Module 2 of the EUCityCalc Learning Programme due to limited capacity.
In addition, we are pleased to refund your travel cost (opportunity subject to fund availability).
