Seniors have the privilege of applying for early release up to one off period each day, and Juniors are eligible for one off period ever other day. This privilege is granted to those students who meet the following expectations:

• Completing coursework for the state Distinguished or LISD Distinguished with Honors Graduation Plan
• Earning an Endorsement
• On track to completing the required 26 credits for graduation
• Have met or will meet the passing standards on all sections of the required EOC Tests

NOTE: If ACC courses are taken on the GHS campus, the student is not eligible for Early Release due to state attendance policies.
