Sessions, times, and venue:
• Members are required to sign up for a minimum of two terms.
• Members will be entitled to 16 sessions over the two terms (32 sessions for the entire
year).
• The uTyala calendar year is made up of 4 terms and sessions are scheduled to coincide
with Gauteng school terms.
• Classes start in February 2021 and end at the end of November 2021.
• Classes will be held at uTyala STEM Centre, 7801 Corona Avenue Extension 9, Lenasia
• Classes are scheduled weekly for 1 hour (Gr R-3) and 2 hours (Gr4-12).
• Parents are required to pick up and drop off members at the class on time.
• Parents will be required to attend compulsory sessions per invite.

Cancellations and Misconduct
• Members must notify the uTyala admin and facilitator at least 2 hours in advance should he/she not be able
to attend a class. No shows and late notification will result in the class being forfeited.
• The Institute will strive to make up missed classes where the member has informed the
admin and facilitator timeously.
• Classes may be cancelled or changed at the discretion of uTyala management due to low
class attendance, ill-health of facilitators, or any other matter as deemed necessary to
cancel.
• Members will have access to all of the Institute's equipment during the STEM class.
• Members may not borrow, lend, damage, steal or destroy equipment.
• Facilitators will be required to report all misconduct by members to uTyala management and parents will be
informed. Any costs related to damages will be invoiced to the responsible account holder.
