WHY YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID?

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.

I will be required to do 2 hours of online, self paced, pre-work prior to being able to attend the in-person training on April 13th

I cannot be absent from the training for longer than 30 min, or I will not be certified.

If I complete the pre-work, then cannot attend the in-person training on 4/13/24, I risk losing my pre-work if I enroll in another course.

Even though this course is free for me to attend, Project AWARE is covering the cost. If I am unable to attend, I will notify Erica Garrity so my seat can be given to another attendee.
