ESSER III Parent/Staff/Community Planning Survey
Linden-Kildare CISD is eligible for a federal grant, ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Recovery) which has numerous requirements that must be met prior to the release of funds.

One mandatory requirement is for our district to solicit public comment during the planning phase. For us to accomplish this task effectively and expeditiously, a survey has been created to allow students, parents, and community members to provide their suggestions on how to expend these federal funds within grant guidelines to meet the needs of all students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LKCISD will have until September 2024 to expend ESSER III funds. If you have any questions, please e-mail the LK helpline at lkhelpline@lkcisd.net, or your child’s campus principal.

Purchase of additional online learning programs students can use at home/during the summer
Purchase and install Interactive Boards in classrooms to increase student interaction with online programs and teacher resources.
Purchase of additional teacher/student laptops in order to implement a 1:1 availability program.
