COVID-19 Parent Survey
Introduction:

Dear Families:
On June 8, 2020, the California Department of Education released guidelines for reopening schools in the fall. Accordingly, PTC administration has been working on plans and contingencies for reopening our school on August 6, 2020. We continue to gather information presented by various sources, including the Governor’s Office, California Department of Education, and state and local departments of public health. We have put together a Task Force which will define our reopening strategy over the course of the next 2 weeks based on the guidelines received from CDE. The Task Force plan will include measures to implement the following COVID-19 Prevention Procedures:

• Temperature check upon entry
• Wearing a facial mask or face shield at all times (applicable to staff, student, and visitors)
• To-go meals provided for students
• Staying in the same classroom/area while on campus
• No playground, ball use, or recess
• Sanitizing of the classroom (between blocks and at the end of each day)

In order to prepare for reopening we will need to collect information from you to help us in the event that we must operate in some non-traditional format. We want to make sure that we are considering information from multiple stakeholders to create a reopening plan that meets the needs of most if not all students, families, and staff in some way or another.
