GCSE Physics Masterclass (Year 10 and 11)
Led by our Assistant Headteacher, David Hemsley, the University of Liverpool Maths school is offering a free to attend online course on Topics in GCSE Physics. This course will be an opportunity for keen physicists to apply the knowledge they are learning during GCSE study to complicated scenarios across the main areas of physics, in particular Electricity, Forces, Waves and Energy. Participants will then go on to explore how the subject is developed further at A-Level, forming clear links between their current and future study and offering a taste of advanced physics.

Year 10 and 11 students with an interest in physics should find this course both challenging and enjoyable, and are all welcome to attend. Sessions commence on Tuesday 10 November and run weekly at 4:30pm.
