The Early Foundations Program, developed in partnership with Frederick Community College (FCC),  is an opportunity designed to help you become familiar with higher education pathways and experiences to prepare for your future college and career goals.

Students in the Early Foundations program will:
- Meet with FCC’s Transition Specialist, Mr. Jose Moreno, to take a Career Assessment Survey that highlights your strengths and interests for the future;
- Learn about educational opportunities at FCC, including programs you can begin while still in high school; and
- Visit FCC’s campus to engage with academic and social experiences that are relevant to your interests and goals.

The time commitment for this program is two 30-40 minute meetings during the school day for the Career Assessment Survey and college information, and one Friday field trip for a half-day of programming on FCC’s campus.
