This is my follow up to Dear Church and so much more than that. This is a no bullshit guide to what faith can happen when things fall apart. I propose there is a life-giving, and life saving, way the faithful can walk alongside communities facing state violence.
In #DearRevs I offer practices to prepare you to create counter systems, built on relationship first models, to start to build concentric circles of mutual aid, center gathering/encounters based on a care first model centered on movement sustainability, and how to grieve when no-one else can.
I try to answer the question: How do the already faithful who see the battle ahead wage peace to protect the most vulnerable? With no thought leader industrial complex hook.

Expectations for launch team members
- Read the book before everyone else and think about what you want to highlight about Dear Revolutionaries. Team Members will receive a copy set version via email, and an advance copy of the release version via snail mail before launch. (No audiobook yet team.)
- Be able to articulate your sphere of influence. We all have them and they are so many more than social media. You may be an attendee at a text study with colleagues for a tiny conference, in a tiny Synod. Those are my bread and butter. You may teach at a secondary eduction institution, or just head up the book study in your area. It maybe a knitting circle that is trying to turn up. Maybe a new thing to share with comrades while you organize. Whatever your sphere of influence, could you please articulate that below? *It's ok if it's just a bunch of followers on twitter but thats not my goal, nor what I want this group to be solely made up of. **Authors welcome :)
- Meet with me for a "2 Way Q and A Zoom" where I ask you questions about how you experienced my work, and you get to ask me what you want in relation to Dear Revolutionaries.
- Write an Amazon review on publication day
- Share enthusiasm and information about the book on your social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Write at least three posts before and one post on the launch date
- I'll provide a social media kit !
