You may want to check your diary before you return your form and get support to help you.
If you need to bring your own support with you on the day you will need to check they are available to come and make sure you book and pay for them on your form too!
Unfortunately, we cannot always get free entry or travel for support but we try to make costs as low as possible.
Terms and Conditions
• Emergency contacts – your emergency contacts need to be available
on the day – if there are different emergency contacts for different days,
please give details including exact details.
• Booking process - some of our trips have limited spaces and are already fully booked. We will try to allocate as fairly as possible, unfortunately there may be some occasions where Winchester Go LD members do not get their first choice.
• Cancellations and refunds - Unfortunately,
there are circumstances when trips need to be cancelled (for example in extreme
weather or rail strikes). We will post any changes on our website calendar (https://winchestergold.org.uk/whats-on/) and we will email any
change of plan to the email address(es) provided on your booking form.
Please
check the website calendar the afternoon/evening before your trip for any
changes.
For any last minute changes (within 24hrs of the trip) we will contact you
by phone
Where possible we will try to reschedule or provide an alternative for any trips that need to be cancelled. We may be unable to provide a full refund for cancelled trips.
We can provide a refund to members who cancel by email to info@winchestergold.org.uk or WhatsApp at least 1 week before the trip as this provides us enough time to try to fill their space. We will not be able to provide a refund to members who need to cancel within 7 days of the trip.
Arriving on time – if you are not on time we will go without you!
Collection on time – please ensure lifts and taxis know when and
where to collect you at the end of the trip.
Bring any medication (and any rescue medication and emergency care plans – e.g. for those who have epilepsy.) Please provide a copy of any emergency care plans when returning this form. Winchester Go LD staff and volunteers DO NOT administer medication but would administer rescue medication under guidance from the Emergency Services.
Behaviour (refer to Winchester Go LD Code of Conduct) – we expect you to listen to staff and follow their instructions. Sometimes we need to allocate members into small groups with staff and volunteers. Respect everybody so that everyone can enjoy a good day. By signing up for the trip you are agreeing to complete the whole trip with Winchester Go LD, unless agreed otherwise with staff.

The lead staff for each day trip will be included on the

Travel and tickets by public transport
Bus – please bring bus passes, we do not include bus fares in the cost of our trips (support are to cover their own bus fare)
Train – we buy group save tickets which will include support staff who are booked to join the trip
Arriving and leaving
Say hello to our staff when you arrive and goodbye when you are ready to leave.

If you have a sunflower lanyard we recommend you wear it.

Please confirm with the office PRIOR to payment. We will send payment instructions when we have received your form.
