Eligibility:
Must be an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota.
Must have taken or be concurrently enrolled in the following courses as prerequisites:
- PSY 1001 (Intro to Psychology),
- PSY 3001W (Research Methods), and
- PSY3801 (Psychological Measurement & Data Analysis) or equivalent.
Research Tasks:
- Complete assigned readings
- Participate in meetings with supervisor and faculty mentor
- Enter, code, and analyze data
- Recruit participants, collect data, and debrief participants
Student Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly lab meetings
- Attend and present in bi-weekly journal club meetings
- Complete research tasks including the above responsibilities
This is a two semester opportunity and students are expected to work about 9 hours per week (3 hours per credit). Responsibilities may vary by project and semester.
