This self-paced online course is for science teachers who have never received AMSTI K-12 Science Notebook training OR for science teachers who want to refresh their knowledge of using notebooks in the classroom.

This course is designed by the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI) to improve math and science education in Alabama. Outcomes include:
• Describe and identify components of Science Notebooks.
• Explore the purpose of Science Notebooks and the research supporting implementation in K-12 classrooms.
• Examine the connections of Science Notebooks to 3-Dimensional Learning.
• Prepare to use your Science Notebook as you continue AMSTI/ASIM training
