Ending the Silence Interest Form
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for those affected by mental health conditions. NAMI Iowa is currently recruiting presenters for our Ending the Silence program. Ending the Silence is a 50-minute presentation, available across the state of Iowa, on signs and symptoms of mental illness designed to change the misconceptions and “end the silence” surrounding mental health. We are seeking individuals over the age of 18 who are comfortable with public speaking and have a connection to mental illness (through yourself or a friend/family member). Given the novel coronavirus, presentations may occur either virtually or in-person.
