INNOVATION
Project-based learning that embeds core content through STEAM activities. STEAM is an integrated approach to teaching physical and social sciences while incorporating technology. STEAM also teaches principles of engineering, mathematics, and fine art.
E.A.S.T
Students in the EAST program will perform service learning projects while using industry-standard software and hardware. Students will identify needs in their communities, and they work to meet those needs. While enrolled in EAST students will practice teamwork, leadership, self-motivation, public speaking and more.
BAND-
No previous music experience is required for this course. You will learn all the basics and fundamentals needed to be able to play your selected instrument. Band students will demonstrate an ability to apply music fundamentals and instrumental techniques in the production, performance, analysis, and critique of instrumental music performance. Students are expected to apply sight-reading skills, improvisational skills, and performance techniques in solo, small group, and large group settings.
PE
This course provides students with the opportunity to learn a variety of sports and sport-related movements as well as health and fitness concepts. Health topics related to nutrition, fitness health, and wellness. Emphasis is placed on active participation and positive social interaction during fitness and sports activities.
