We, the undersigned, are calling on Rafael Rafidi to resign his position on the Jefferson Parish School Board. His public comments on social media demonstrate that he is unfit to serve. His disrespectful and degrading comments about teachers, who work everyday to serve our students are indefensible and should not be represented on our school board. We hope that the remaining board members will engage the community and relevant stakeholders in their process to find a suitable replacement.
