SLO Hacks is Cal Poly SLO's largest hackathon. We host multiple events year-round dedicated towards our mission of bringing computer science education to all students. From our beginner-oriented hackathon typically hosted in the fall/winter to our flagship 350-person main event in the winter/spring, our events bring students, mentors, and corporate sponsors together to collaborate and build amazing projects.

Due to COVID-19, our 24-hour online event, SLO Hacks Lite, will be held on January 23rd, 9 am - January 24th, 9 am at the comfort of your own home. Various mentor shifts are available and listed in this form.

As a mentor, you'll actively check on the progress of hackers, offer assistance and knowledge to hackers, as well as actively checking Slack threads for hackers in need of assistance. It is important to note that, mentors are strictly prohibited from taking part in the hackathon competition itself.
