BASICS

When? from 5th to 12th April 2024 (Arrival and departure days)

Who? 3 youth workers, monitors (+ 18 years old), from each country: Romania, Portugal, Germany, Albania, Greece, Netherlands and Spain. 
We expect youth workers, monitors, volunteers working with youths/kids/adults in collectives, organizations or other entities that would like to bring more environmental, gender equality, inclusive practices and ethics inside
and outside their collective.
With experience in the work with groups and the desire of sharing with other collegue in a multicultural and safe environment.

Where? Obón (Teruel), Spain

Costs? Accommodation and meals are covered by Erasmus +. 
Travel costs are cover up to the limit: 

* Standard travel   ----->  by plane
    360€ /participant from Romania and Greece
    275€/participant from Portugal, albania, Germany and Netherlands
    150€/ participant from Spain

* Green travel -----> travelling by land: bus, train, shared car. Also accomodation and food covered!
    410 €/ participant from Romania and Greece
    320€/participant from Portugal, albania, Germany and Netherlands
    150€/ participant from Spain

SUMMARY

In this Training Course "Let's build GENDER-ECO-Friendly Collectives" youth workers will acquire techniques, skills and knowledge to develop strategies to apply gender equality and ecological good practices within their own organization, group or collective that collaborates with.
It will be based on practical workshops and sessions on the following topics:
  • Individual reflections about our own principles in terms of gender and environmental care.
  • Group dynamics to analyze needs in the different organizations and groups
  • Teamwork to develop a good practices guide
  • Practical workshops to exchange participants knowledge/ skills
  • Action for the village to be decided (in every project we suggest an action with/for the village and it inhabitants)
The methodology of the course will be based on horizontal self-training, working groups, practical and outdoor
activities with the contribution of collaborating organizations and participants.
