The Mt. Lebanon Environmental Team (LeboGreen) truly missed celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day with you in 2020 but we have a fantastic, virtual celebration planned for 2021 ...
Virtual Earth Day 2021 in Mt. Lebanon begins at NOON on Thursday, April 22, 2021! We are creating a Story Map, which will connect visitors to our YouTube Channel. There, our entire community will be able to view educational and inspirational information provided by vendors, artists and nonprofit organizations. This Channel will be public and available in perpetuity after NOON on April 22nd. If you are interested in participating as a Sponsor, we will reach out to you with additional information on how to create Your Story for inclusion in the Story Map.
We are reaching out to you in this Sponsorship Request to help us meet our 2021 virtual delivery needs.
In case you are not familiar with our past work, please note that LeboGreen is a group of Mt. Lebanon citizen volunteers devoted to conserving energy, water and waste in our community. We work with residents, elected officials, institutions, businesses, non-profits and the Mt. Lebanon Environmental Sustainability Board to educate the local community and to encourage the implementation of sustainable strategies. The Team responds to: global and local economic, social and environmental challenges; to human health needs; and to reducing the effects of climate change on our community and on our neighbors.

https://www.facebook.com/Earth-Day-in-Mt-Lebanon-135088833224133/Our goal by offering a virtual Earth Day 2021 celebration in Mt. Lebanon is to inspire and to educate our community about all things “green.” Please join us. Our YouTube Channel will include FUN for all age groups.
Since presentations in our two activity tents in 2019 were so well attended, we are planning virtual tents in 2021 where participants can take part in educational and enjoyable virtual activities. We are planning to share music, meditation, yoga, and energy, water and waste conservation information, as well as air quality, wellness and human health & productivity information. We will offer composting and rain barrel workshops, which will include compost bins and rain barrels. Registration will be required for these workshops directly through the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC).
As a Sponsor, perhaps you are interested in offering a workshop of your own. Please reach out for additional information on how to make that a reality. We welcome your participation!

We have two particular needs for the 2021 year:
+ $1,000 - Website Hosting, Design and Launch - We are in the process of recreating our website and access to our MailChimp account.
+ $4,000 - 501(c)3 Designation - We are consulting with a lawyer to prepare and submit documentation for LeboGreen 501(c)3 designation.
We realize that the donation amounts, show above, are BIG ASKS. Please feel free to donate an appropriate amount for you or your organization. All donations will be totaled and applied toward LeboGreen's achievement of these financial goals.
