'Who are my people?' is an online repository and installation that aims to archive and document stories and experience of the south-Asian queer individuals in relation to chosen families and queer kinship.

The aim is to preserve memories authentically and with transparency. To create a long term access to stories and lived-realities online. To celebrate and champion the the evolution of family within queer communities? To re-look what home, or a sanctuary truly means to some of us?

Through these stories, the hope is to create a collective imagination of what a queer oasis could look like.

Since I am in the initial stage of archiving, I are currently unable to pay, but am hoping to eventually, be able to pay a small amount to the people whose stories the project collects. However, an honorarium will definitely be paid to all the participants whose interviews appears in the future installation. *
