Dog Run Operations
(only fill out form when you are on site at Quartyard wanting to use the dog run, there are no reservations taken)
*The dog run opening is a on a trial basis effective Jan 16, 2021*
Open during normal operating hours (subject to change)  
- Check in at the bar
- First come, first serve basis
- If the dog run is full when you arrive, you will be in line to take the next spot after a patron has used the dog run for 30 minutes or is done with using the dog run, whatever comes first.
- 4 Dogs are allowed in the dog run at a time
- 2 people per dog are allowed in the dog run at a time
- $10 minimum spend at Quartyard required to use the dog run
- 30 minute time limit for use of the dog run
- Covid-19 compliant rules are applied including: physical distancing, wearing of a mask, and do not bring your dog to the dog run if you have tested positive for Covid-19, have symptoms of Covid-19, or have been in direct contact with someone with Covid-19

Dog Run Rules
It shall be considered a violation of the courtyard LLC dog park rules for an owner or person with custody, care, charge, control, or possession of a dog, to do any of the following within the designated off- leash area:
- abandon or otherwise leave any off leash dog on attended or unsupervised
- Do not open the dog run gates for other dogs or patrons
- Have more than two dogs in the off leash area at one time
- Failed to clean up after your dog immediately
- Have a female dog in estrus (heat cycle)
- Have a dog without a current and valid dog license as required by San Diego county code
- Have a dog without up-to-date vaccinations
- In the event of a dog bite that results in injury requiring medical care to the person or another dog, failed to provide the injured person or owner or custodian of the injured dog, at the time of the injury, his or her full name, correct dog license information, telephone number, mailing address, and drivers license number.

Code of Conduct
- Leash dog while entering and leaving off leash area
- Aggressive dogs, declared dangerous dogs, and dogs with contagious diseases are prohibited and must be immediately removed from the off leash area.
- Small children and infants must be under strict adult supervision at all times. Parents /adults must ask permission from Dog owner / custodian for children to play with another owner / custodians dog
- Dogs must be under voice, whistle, or hand signal control at all times.
- Owner or person with custody, care, charge, control or possession of the dog or both must have a leash on hand at all times for each dog.
- Excessive barking is prohibited.
- The off leash area is subject to closure without notice

Implied Consent
- The presence of a dog in designated off leash area shall constitute implied consent of the person entering owning or controlling the dog to the rules, regulations in code of conduct imposed by Quartyard LLC.

Liability and indemnification
- The presence of a dog in this designated off leash area shall constitute a waiver of liability on behalf of the person either owning or controlling the dog, to courtyard LLC, as well as an agreement and undertaking to protect, and damned if I, defend, and hold harmless courtyard LLC from any injury or damage caused by the dog.

Assumption of risk
- Any individual that enters or takes a dog into the off leash area is aware of the risks associated with doing so. Including the rest of physical injury to themselves or their dog, and enters the off leash area at their on risk.
Each dog owner or custodian, and each individual that enters the off leash area, assumes all wrists and therefore releases Quartyard LOC from any liability for injury or damage is related to the entry, with or without a dog, into the office area.
