READ ME FIRST
Please read through the entire application before beginning.

NowMattersNow.org offers examples of DBT skills (e.g., Mindfulness, Opposite Action, Paced Breathing, etc.) through the form of video. It also offers free resources such as a Safety Plan and Guide, Crisis Resources, posters, and other downloadables. DBT stands for Dialectical Behavior Therapy and was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan.

We ask that people demonstrate their interest by creating a video as part of their application.

We hold an annual Academy (applications due Oct 1, but early submissions may earn pre-approval). If not accepted for this cycle, you can reapply next year.

Becoming an Ambassador and attending an Academy is about learning, sharing and empowering ourselves and others.

Your information will be reviewed by our founder Dr. Ursula Whiteside, or a member of the NowMattersNow.org team. Your responses are confidential within NowMattersNow.org.

REQUIRED: Video submission
Submit a 1 to 2 minute maximum video describing yourself using a DBT skill from the website. Upload to Vimeo or YouTube and share link here. Use the Practice Assignment as a guide: https://www.nowmattersnow.org/get-involved and video tips: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/17/smarter-living/beginners-guide-phone-video.html

Many people have more than one. This information is confidential (only Ursula Whiteside and select members of her team who also have Lived Experience will review).
