Discipleship Year 2023/24
Discipleship Year (DY) is a one-year internship where we invest in your spiritual formation to help you become a follower of Jesus who is secure in the love of God and equipped to sustainably pursue the Kingdom for the long-term.

DY runs from September 2023 and finishes in July 2024.

DY runs on Wednesdays and is open to people of all ages and stages of life (18+). It may be that you find yourself with capacity to give some time to church and you want to deepen your faith or you might be exploring a sense of call to leadership and ministry but you are early in that journey. Wherever you are, DY could be a great way to spend your next year!

There is a cost of £160 for Discipleship Year to cover your books and resources. This can either be paid in one lump sum or broken down into monthly or termly payments. We have endeavoured to keep the cost of the year as low as possible but please speak to us if you are worried about paying for the year.

DY will take place from 08:45-17:00 each week (though the finish time can be flexible i.e. for picking up children from school). DYers will serve across the church and play a vital role in making ministries and services happen. We ask that people serve at 3 out of 4 Sunday services in their site. There'll also be books to read and spiritual rhythms to practice in the week (we anticipate that these will take around an hour a week though this may vary a little).
