The City of Sydney Basketball Association (CSBA) is currently calling for expressions of interest to coach in the Sydney Comets Representative Junior & Senior programs for the 2022 season
Applications are called for all age groups Under 12 - Under 18 for boys and girls, Youth League as either a Head Coach or Assistant Coach

All interested applicants should be aware that CSBA coaches are expected to:
• Adhere to the CSBA representative coach declaration including a working with children check.

• Hold a Level 1 or Club Coach accreditation or be planning to complete the course in the foreseeable future.
• Meet the required twice a week practice session commitment and to be available for competition games on the weekend.
• Be available to assist with representative trials in October/November (either mid-week or on weekends) and work with fellow coaches and development manager to select teams.
• Be highly motivated, organised (e.g. plan practice sessions) be willing to work as a team and show a good work ethic.

(NOTE: CSBA will not consider an applicant who wishes to coach another team at another association, in addition to the Sydney Comets)

All nominations for coaching positions will be considered by a CSBA Coaching Committee. This Committee will be responsible for making recommendations on all coaching positions that will be subject to ratification by the CSBA Board. Please note that applications from parents applying for assistant coaching positions in the age group their child is trialing, will not be considered until after the teams have been selected.

If required the Coaching Committee will conduct interviews for the relevant positions.
