UWSM Super 8s (Double Wicket Cricket Tournament)

- Both individual & club participation is allowed
- Games on Sat & Sun mornings & occasional Thurs/Fri evenings.

-4 teams (2 players per team)
- 6 overs per pair. 24 overs game. Everyone bowls 3 overs.
- Out is -3 and batsmen continue to bat till full 6 overs are complete.

- Cup Finals for top teams & Plate finals for bottom teams
- Enjoy the fun format while playing proper cricket
- Awards such as MOM each game, player of the tournament, Winners & Runners up trophies, Medals to the participants who reach the final round.
Venues: Various big or medium size astro Fields or cricket grounds around Singapore (Exact Venues & Locations TBC).
Event will be conducted with all the covid-19 safe management measures as per the government guidelines.

Registration fee = $50 per player or $100 per pair to be paid at the time of filling up the form at below account.
Match fee = $30-35 per game per player or $60-70 per pair (depends on the ground) to be paid before the start of the tournament once total number of games are decided as per the total number of participants
Registration is accepted as individual, pairs or full club team of 8.

*Free 8 hours of Cricket Nets Usage for first 8 clubs*
To get the free Nets usage of 8 hours, need to register 8 players as full team/ club by 20 Feb. Teams can also arrange players individually and make a group of 8.
Terms & conditions of using Nets:
- If the nets are available at the venue, then arrangements will be made to use the nets before or after the game on same day. If 8 am game then nets will be given at 10 am or if 10 am game then nets will be given at 8 am. Either 2 Nets for 1 hour each or 1 nets for 2 hours will be given for usage for a particular slot. If you don’t use the nets after arrangements are made then it will not be transferred to other day as it depends on Nets availability and safe management officer is required on site and there are other logistics & admin work involved too. Most likely this will be the arrangements as current venues have nets.
- If nets are not available at the venue then separate arrangements will be made on different day on weekends as per the availability to attend the net session. It will not be transferred to other date as it depends on Nets availability and safe management officer is required on site and there are other logistics & admin work involved too.
- You are allowed to play with leather cricket ball in the nets but must bring own kits and sharing of equipment is not allowed.
- Must follow safe management guidelines of covid 19 during the session.
- Players who are registered for the tournament, only can attend the nets session. Additional members or friends can’t be invited.
- Per player registration fee should be paid at the time of registration.
