Please note: Honor Societies and School Publications do not need to submit SGA Charters.
Before submitting a charter, you need to have all the following information ready.
1) CORRECTLY SPELLED First & Last Name of Sponsor. If you don't know, go to
https://www2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/wjhs/staff/staff-directory/ to look it up.
2) CORRECT email address of Sponsor @
mcpsmd.org. If you don't know, go to
https://www2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/wjhs/staff/staff-directory/ to look it up.
3) Room number where meetings will be held (this needs to be the NUMBER, not Mr H's room or similar). If you don't know, ask the sponsor for his/her room number.
4 Properly spelled first and last names of 4 different students to be club officers (President, VP, Secretary & Treasurer). If you can't find 4 people to join, you are not a club.
5) CORRECT email address of the club President.
Once this form is submitted, a copy will go to the named sponsor for review. You club is not approved until the sponsor electronically returns the charter to Mr. Menchukov the ECA Director.
