Sponsorship at the Big Purple Barn
Thank you so much for your interest in sponsoring a resident. 

It costs a baseline of about:
  • $200 per month to feed, house, and care for each horse.
  • $  75 per month to feed, house and care for each sheep.
  • $  75 per month to feed, house and care for each goat.
  • $  50 per month to feed, house and care for each pig.
  • $  30 per month to feed, house and care for each cat.
Some of our residents have special needs that incur extra expenses as well. Fore example, some animals require special supplements and medications on top of their routine feed and care. Some have ongoing medical needs that require more frequent care from our veterinary and farrier teams as well. We work hard to ensure each animal has what they need to be happy and thrive in our care for all of their days.

Your monthly sponsorship donation goes directly to help pay for the care of the animals. Please note that sponsorship DOES NOT convey any riding time or unsupervised visitation/access to the animals. All visits are supervised and can include hands on activites when appropriate and approved by our director. Sponsors are here to provide financial and emotional support to the animals in residence! Many of our horses are not rideable. Each of our animals recieves customized care!

We also have a spring and fall sponsors only event where you get exclusive access for you and a select number of guests!

PLEASE NOTE- If you are not local to the farm and cannot physically visit, we will send you extra updates and you can even schedule a video call to say hi and walk around the farm with us! We have lots of ways to keep you involved.

Your support enables us to provide the best care possible for our resident animals and we are excited to welcome you into our farm family! We DO NOT get notified of new submissions and we prioritize the animal care so we are not always able to check this form.

If you do not know which animal you would like to sponsor, or if you would like to be a general sponsor, we will schedule your first visit after your first monthly donation to meet the animals and help you find the perfect fit!
