Universal Pre-K/Enrichment Program

The administration is looking into creating a new Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Program combined with Enrichment, to offer a full-day program for eligible 4-year olds in the Southold School District. The program hours would be approximately 9 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Southold Elementary School. The UPK portion of the program is funded by New York State and is of no cost to families, however the enrichment portion of the program would be paid for by families. We are estimating the total cost per child to be $525 per month for the full-day UPK/Enrichment Program. All food and snacks would be provided to your child at no additional cost.

We are conducting a district-wide survey to determine if this is something that families would take advantage of for the 2020-2021 school year and subsequent years.
