12:30 - Welkomstwoord om de maaltijd te openen
14:15 - 15:15 Gratis rondleiding Home and The World tentoonstelling
Let op: aanmelden voor de gratis rondleiding kan bij aankomst, bij de kassa.
De rondleiding worden iedere ronde zowel in het Nederlands en Engels aangeboden
Voor elke rondleiding bestaat een maximum van 15 personen per gids.
12:30 - 15: 30 Gratis schmink voor de kleintjes onder ons.
16:00 officiële einde van de middag
Gedurende de gehele middag kunnen aanwezige aan een van de tafels aanschuiven en ondersteund door de gesprekskaarten op tafel met elkaar in gesprek. Het museum zorgt voor verschillende drankjes en Surinaams Buffet, Koemans Broodjes en Baked by Francisca zorgen voor de heerlijke hapjes.

Today, Sunday May 5th 2024, the museum will open its doors from 12:00 to 16:00 for everyone, whether you live nearby, are a member of one of our friend groups/our partners, whether you have planned your visit well in advance or decide to come at the last minute, whether this is your umpteenth visit or perhaps your first, alone or with company - everyone is warmly welcome to reflect and engage in conversation about the freedoms we share and sometimes take for granted.
Pre-registration is unfortunately no longer possible, nevertheless, we still invite you to join us. Below you will find the program for the afternoon, including the various caterers for this event.
Freedom Meal Program
Doors open from 12:00 onwards.
12:30 - Welcome address to kick off the meal
13:00 - 14:00 Free guided tour of the Home and The World exhibition
14:15 - 15:15 Free guided tour of the Home and The World exhibition
Please note: Registration for the free guided tour can be done upon arrival, at the ticket counter. The tours will be offered in both Dutch and English in each round. Each tour has a maximum capacity of 15 people per guide.
12:30 - 15:30 Free face painting for the little ones among us.
16:00 Official end of the afternoonThroughout the afternoon, attendees can join one of the tables and engage in conversation supported by conversation cards on the table and/or inspired by our current exhibition "Home and The World]. The museum will provide various beverages, and Surinamese Buffet, Koemans Broodjes, and Baked by Francisca will provide delicious snacks.
