Poets must identify as Black and Queer to sign-up for Periodt: Black Queer Poetry Slam.

VPS is looking for 10 Black Queer poets to compete at Periodt: Black Queer Poetry Slam. Ten names will be drawn from the sign-up sheet on the day of the event to decide the lineup.

This slam will have three three-minute rounds. Sign-ups are required before the day of the event. A draw will be held before the show starts to choose 10 poets from the sign-up sheet. All participating poets will be paid a $50 honorarium. The first-place winner will receive $200, the second-place will receive $150, and the third-place winner will receive $100.

All poets must fill out all the information requested in this form to receive prizes and honorariums.
