Introduction
This summer, Passamaquoddy Wild Blueberry Co. (PWBC), located in Columbia Falls, is excited to offer two paid internship opportunities to youth in the community.

The internships are funded by the Native American Agriculture Fund, and were designed to increase awareness and create opportunities for Passamaquoddy youth. The internships will be offered to students who are members of the Passamaquoddy community, attending local high schools.

Internship Details
The internships will be based at PWBC Headquarters, in Columbia Falls, Maine. Internships will be approximately 32-36 hours/week, for 8 weeks. The opportunity is paid (compensation to be disclosed with candidates).

The PWBC Youth Internships will provide interns with exposure to multiple aspects of the business, including, but not be limited to:

-  Administrative activities: bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, compliance
-  Marketing & Sales: vendor relations, prospecting, negotiations, promotion & brand awareness activities, social media, newsletter and content creation
-  Farm & Production Operations: familiarization with grow operations, land management activities, harvesting coordination and operations, processing operations

Located in Columbia Falls, Maine, Passamaquoddy Wild Blueberry Co. (PWBC) is a federally-chartered company that is wholly owned by the Passamaquoddy Tribe. Since 1981, PWBC has owned, managed, farmed, and harvested nearly 2,000 acres of lowbush wild blueberry fields.
